UPDATE: STILL WORTH IT! I bought these back in January, it’s now September and I’ve just started using a 3rd one out of the 10. I use these daily and while yes, they do stretch out, they are an excellent value for the price! One I pulled too hard on and the elastic broke, the second one I’ve been using for months and finally decided to retire it and pull out another one to use. I’ll try washing and drying it (that can help re-shrink the elastic but can make it brittle) but I feel like only using two over an 8 month span speaks to the quality of the product.I try to style my hair every morning, but by mid morning or afternoon inevitable I need it up and out of my face and it ends up in the messy mom bun. Also, I like to “pineapple” my curls at night to keep them out of my face while I sleep and salvage some of the curl so the next mornings routine is easier. With darker hair these satin scrunchies are perfect since they blend in (I’m not looking to make a fashion statement) and the fabric won’t pull moisture from my hair like the cotton ones do. I was worried about them losing their stretch like other reviews said but I’ve used one for about 2 weeks now with no sign of a change. For the price, even if I have to buy more in 6 months to a year it will still be well worth it!

I wanted them so that I wasn’t using anything harsh to tie of hold my hair because I just started getting the things I needed to take care of my hair. When they arrived they smelt like rubber which was kind of off putting. They also felt cheap for them to be “satin” but they work for what I go them for and handy

Works well for fine hair
I bought these because I have fine hair and not much of it. These are small enough that they hold my hair away from my face at work without having to twist it more than twice (I had to do several twists with regular silk style hair ties). Arrived quickly and packaged professionally. No complaints here.

Perfect!!
I purchased these satin scrunchies (black) July 2022 and thought I’d left a review, but it looks like I didn’t. So here it goes, Jan 2024…These have been perfect for my natural curls. Here it is almost 2 years later and they have held up tremendously. I use them for day time ponytails and night time pineappling. I’m just now using my 4th one out of the 10 pack. I should have ordered two packs.I can only hope that the quality hasn’t diminished when it’s time for me to reorder.

Feel like rubber gloves
Not entirely sure if these are actually satin, out of the box they feel like rubber/nitrile gloves. They don’t snag on hair though.

Perfect hold
I use these for my ponytails because it doesn’t pull out hair or cause breakage. They are soft and my hair stays in place without slippage. You can also use them to create curls overnight. I have had mines for years and ordered more because I shared them.

These scrunches are a good size for ponytail/puffs if you have natural/coily hair. No pulling or snagging the hair. Great to protect your strands. They are tight enough to provide some grip and since ordering these 2 months ago, none have become loose or elastic snapped. Will order more. Very handy to have and cheap for the amount you get.
