I wanted to love this. Sleek look for a good price but it just didn’t work for my daughters thick wavy hair. She highlights it so we are really trying to minimize her heat exposure. Ended up getting the Nume Megastar Infrared on the recommendation of my hair stylist and LOVE IT. That said, this would probably be a great choice if you have thinner or finer hair. Just not the best choice for long, thick, wavy color-treated hair.

I was worried about other reviews/information stating that titanium plates might be too hot for fine hair like I have. I rotate between a short bob and just past shoulder length hair and I find it nearly impossible to use a flat iron to curl my hair. I wanted one to do it all because I travel a lot and don’t want to pack multiple tools. I’ve tried a bunch of high end/OG ones and never loved them/found them really hard to curl with. I absolutely LOVE THIS TOOL. It was so easy to use and feels good in the hand. I also tried it on my friend with coarse thick hair and she loves it too. 10/10 recommend. For the price too this is such a steal.
