Great ingredients, scent free!
This ampoule serum from APLB contains many good ingredients for your skin and feels lightweight with minimal absorption time. The dropper bottle helps distribute an even mount onto the fingers which is a nice touch and the absorption time was only around 5-10 minutes but it left me feeling as if my skin was glowing after a few days of use! There is no scent that I could detect in this serum which makes it a good choice for those who have sensitive skin or are sensitive to scents. However, due to some of the active ingredients in this, I highly recommend you use it as a night serum or wear an ample amount of sun protection if you do not wish to get a severe sunburn. :)Overall, this is a great choice for those who wish to have a boost to their skin and a tighter, dewy feel on their face! I will be grabbing this a second time around!

questionable bottle
APLB Retinol Vitamin C Vitamin E Ampoule Serum | RETINOL VITA CEN™ 28.1%: This serum has a lot of good ingredients and a lot of quasi-scientific explanations on the product page but unless the clear glass bottle has a UV coating (not mentioned anywhere), the Vitamin C will degrade. Keep it in a drawer, away from the light.

Silky finish, no fragrance
The vial arrived securely packaged and without leaks or damage. It is 1.35fl oz in size. This was my first time trying a product that combines retinol, vitamin C and vitamin E. The color is clear and there is no fragrance. The texture is just slightly thick – like a typical serum. The serum goes on smoothly and absorbs immediately. The finish is silky – not sticky or tacky. I’m very impressed with the formulation of this product as the vitamin C combined with retinol and vitamin E is very stable and does not oxidize. I feel like the vitamin E is a great moisture vehicle for retinol and vitamin C. I’ve used this product both in the morning and at night to great results – and it layers with other products very well. I did not experience pilling or balling up with this product. Also, I have not experienced breakouts or irritation from using this product. 5 stars.

Nice calming serum, but almost nonexistent retinol or vitamin c
Don’t be afraid of the retinol in this serum – it’s 1000 parts per billion, which equates to a whopping 0.0001% – the lowest I’ve ever seen in a product containing retinol (at least where the percent is disclosed). Same with the Vitamin C at a giant 0.0003% concentration (typically for effective brightening you’ll see vitamin c at 8-20% – this serum contains practically none). What it has more of than either of those ingredients? 28% cica. Vitamin E, tea tree extract, rice extract, collagen, eggplant, and a few more. It also has hyaluronic acid, panthenol, and squalane. These are all outstanding skincare ingredients in their own right. The whole trademarked “Retinol Vita Cen” thing, and the patented ingredient complex (which is also used in a few other serums from this company and is unrelated to the retinol, cica, and vitamin c) is a complete marketing ploy, and one that obviously works based on comments from other reviews here.Here’s the thing, though. This isn’t marketed as a brightening serum (at least not because of the vitamin c) and it doesn’t claim to do anything for your wrinkles (which a true retinol serum would) – what it does promise is cleaner, moisturized skin with tighter pores. And on that front in certainly delivers. I think of this more as a calming serum due to the cica. It goes on smoothly, and the dropper is larger than some other serums I’ve used so I find just two drops is enough for both my face and neck. It takes a bit to absorb, but it leaves my skin soft and dewy, and not at all tacky or sticky.I’d recommend this as a nice calming serum that provides good moisture, but if you’re looking for a true Vitamin C or retinol serum, I would look elsewhere.

Removed my under eye bags
People have been complimenting my skin for being so good-looking. Even my mom who is going to be (with love) my worst critic complimented how good and clear my skin looked.I was mainly concerned with getting this product to reduce the under-eye puffiness I’ve been experiencing for the last 3 months. Nothing had worked previously but after a few days of applying this serum, I’ve noticed clear decreases in puffiness. I didn’t stop doing my other skin care practices but I just added this serum in as a part of the daily moisturizing for morning and night.I wash my face first and then put one drop in each section of my face. Forehead, chin, right and left cheek, and nose. I use silicone eye patches under each eye for 15 minutes. Then I do an ice rub and call it a night. I initially had those eye patches and they mentioned a serum or eye cream was needed to make them effective so the serum is still the MVP.
