The texture is a thick, silky cream that absorbs surprisingly quickly without leaving a greasy film. I noticed a difference within the first 24 hours. Areas that were usually rough (like elbows and shins) felt noticeably smoother and calmer.What stood out most is how well it works for sensitive and reactive skin. There’s no fragrance, no burning, and no tacky residue. I also used it after showering to help with winter dryness, and it locked in moisture all day. Great Lotion, Lousy Container!
Absolutely love this lotion. I’ve tried many good brands to tamp down my eczema inflammation and stay moisturized. This one works well in general. Once in a while, there’s a slight film for some reason but that’s 1% of the time. My one complaint (4 instead of 5 stars) is the container. It kind of sucks in that half way through, the pump can no longer get the lotion out and I have to take it out every time and either use the pump to extract a clump of lotion or bang some out by hitting bottom of bottle. It’s maddening. I guess that’s why Vanicream (similar consistency) uses a large round tub with pump lid so you have the easy option to open and just get the lotion out with your hand. Also wish they would offer a refill or larger version.

Best body cream! It is very thick, no odor, and helps with dry or aging skin. It absorbs quickly enough to not leave spots on your clothes. Great quality without being oily.

Holy Grail Moisturizer Mature Skin and Tretinoin Users
Recently started using tretanoin, I already have dry mature skin, and happen to live in an extremely dry climate area so keeping dryness under control is a daily mission. Tret can make your skin very dry and flaky, and this cream has been amazing. It’s a medium to heavy moisturizer that’s rich.. I was looking for anything that wouldn’t cause issues while using tret, so fragrance free and free of pretty much everything, and this fits the bill perfectly. I layer it at night, but on extra dry days I’ll even slather it on during the day. If you want a lighter option for daytime, the double repair moisturizer is a great choice, and that’s what I normally use in the morning. If you’re new to tretinoin or just dealing with dryness and barrier repair, this is the one.

Was pleasantly surprised by its smooth application and long-lasting effect. I now use it first thing in the morning before my sunblock; right after my shower for face and décolletage. Before bed, after a good application of my serum, I lock all in with it. Wonderful stuff that last many hours. Face look distinctively moisturised. Qualifying note – I live in the tropic.

Unser Baby hatte mit 4 Monaten zunehmende Schorfbildung auf dem Kopf und teilweise im Gesicht, dazu Juckreiz. Darum erhielten wir von unserer Kinderärztin Proben verschiedener Cremes zur Linderung. Wir haben uns dann für dieses Produkt entschieden, weil es nicht nur die Haut weich macht, sondern auch den Juckreiz lindert, sich gut verteilen lässt und wirklich schnell einzieht. Während der schlimmsten Phase unterstützen wir die Behandlung mit Öl zum Anlösen der Schuppen vor dem Baden, was gut funktionierte. Nach dem Baden, sowie morgens und abends wurde die Creme aufgetragen, und was soll ich sagen: Nach 2 Wochen war das Problem größtenteils beseitigt! Weil die Creme so sparsam dosiert werden kann und so schnell geholfen hat, haben wir jetzt noch jede Menge übrig für kleinere “Rückfälle”, aber auch ganz allgemein bei rissigen Hände im Winter, trockene Gesichtshaut oder rauhen Füßen kommt die Creme erfolgreich zum Einsatz. Super!
