Nice manicure set
This is a handy manicuring set that includes all the basic things you would need, suitable for men or women. The case is a nice beige imitation leather, and the tools seem decently made. There is a piece of fabric covering the tools on one side to protect them from the ones on the other side. It would be better if the interior fabric was a bit nicer, and if the flat tools were better secured, as they slip quite a bit in the case. However, overall, it’s a nice set and would come in handy for everyday or travel.

Overpriced manicure set
I chose this manicure set because it’s always a good idea to have extra manicure tools around, and these sets are especially handy to take with you while traveling. Upon first opening the package, I will say I found the set to feel low quality overall. As you can see, the tools on the left are covered by a thin, poorly sewn in piece of fabric. The tools on the left are very light, not of good quality, and the slots that they are in actually are too big so the tools slide all over that compartment. Personally, I do not feel that these tools had anything to the kit and will likely not use them. Now the tools on the right, however, are actually quite nice. They are heavy, and well-made. The two nail clippers fit very nicely in my hand and have a little nail file built into the handle (something I haven’t seen before and is quite handy). Overall, I feel this kit is severely overpriced for what it is. Given the quality of half the set, plus the flimsy divider fabric, I would not feel comfortable giving this as a gift to any of my loved ones.

Quality personal care set, but bulky
This is a pretty nice all-in-one personal care kit, and when I first opened it I was impressed with how high quality it feels for the price. The case is thick and heavy, about equivalent to a small novel in size and weight. Each tool has its own designated spot, with clippers and trimmers on one side (with snaps/straps to hold the bulkier items down) and tweezers and picks on the other. It feels sort of strange to have them arranged by size/shape, resulting in foot tools mixed in so closely with facial tools though.The main downside to this kit is that, while it has a nice heft to it, it is a lot bulkier than it needs to be which makes it hard to justify for travel purposes. I’m keeping mine stashed in a drawer, which is fine, but then there’s not as much justification to keep it in the case in the first place. Additionally, the smaller tools on the left side are only held down by one strap in the middle, and with the tools being smooth metal, I’ve found that just a little movement makes them slide right on out of their straps.

I also appreciate the zippered pouch, which keeps everything neatly organized and easy to store. I keep this set in my drawer, and it looks tidy and convenient to use anytime.
