One of the best toothbrushes you can get.
First, I love that it’s app connected. It’s definitely effective, more than any other electric toothbrush I’ve owned. It does a fantastic job cleaning my teeth, and my gums look very healthy too. My only issue, and it’s not that big of an issue in the slightest, is that it is a very loud toothbrush, but otherwise it’s a very good purchase.

Exceptional Quality and Performance
I usually don’t take the time to leave reviews, but I had to for this one because of how satisfied I am. It feels like I’m getting a professional teeth cleaning every time I use it, and there’s a noticeable difference compared to regular toothbrushes. The quality also feels just as good as the higher-priced options. You will not be disappointed!!

Works with dual brush head
My favorite toothbrush. Glows red when you push too hard. Longer battery life than previous brush and shows battery life at bottom. I charge it once a week. Works well.

Great Cleaning Power, Minor Connectivity Issues
The Oral-B Smart 5000 does an excellent job cleaning my teeth, and I love the pressure sensor and multiple cleaning modes. The travel case is also very handy. My only complaint is the Bluetooth connection can be a bit inconsistent at times, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, still a great toothbrush!

Love it
I won’t rehash what others have already said, this is a great toothbrush, you won’t be sorry buying it. What I will do is point out things that aren’t mentioned much, but that were important to me.1) There’s little to no difference between this model and higher priced ones, even 2x the price – by ‘little’ difference, I mean the higher price gets you more features in the app and another ‘brushing mode’ or two, like pulsating or an additional ‘gentle mode’. By ‘no difference’, I mean inside-hardware and capability-wise, they’re actually all the same. Spend more if app features are important to you, save your money if they’re not.2) This model has no indication which of the 5 brushing modes you’re on – Oral-B decided to charge an extra Benjamin for that feature on the next model up, I think it’s the Smart Pro Limited or Smart Pro 6000, which has a light-up display that lights up icons when you switch modes; that’s really all the higher price gets you. You can either count the modes yourself and save some money, or just holding the mode switch button automatically resets it to the first mode if you forget.3) The bluetooth comes automatically on, but you can turn it off anytime by just holding both the power button and the mode switch button for 3 seconds. The bluetooth icon will flash, and then turn off. It’ll stay off forever, or until you repeat that action, then it’ll flash and stay on. Very simple, but good to know if you don’t care about the app and want to save battery4) I looove that this brush doesn’t actually stop brushing when it hits the 30 second mark. I’ve always hated how my last brush, the discontinued 4000 Pro model, would just stop and beep – very annoying since I brush at my own pace. It was especially annoying when I was brushing the back of my tongue and the abrupt interruption always almost caused me to gag; this one just beeps and slows down for half a second – it’s actually hard to notice if you’re not looking for it – which is a huge plus for me. I can finally brush how I want and not forced to pause because I was out of sync with the timerAll in all, I’m very pleased with this model, really no regrets, and hope it lasts for years to come.

Love this power brush
Great toothbrush, lets you know every 30 seconds of operation. I would have gotten the white one, shows less residual tooth paste.

The last toothbrush (model) I will ever need.
9 years and 5 months before the motor finally gave out. Very durable device. This toothbrush is an amazing value. It’s cleaning power is phenomenal. The pressure sensor helped me learn to effectively brush. Whenever I went on a two week trip, I never had to worry about charging. Even brushing twice a day. The Bluetooth features are nice. However, after my first year, I never bothered with them. I would purchase this exact same model for the rest of my life.

Not a too expensive toothbrush
This is my second one of this toothbrush. My first one lasted me over three years, which made me very happy. Felt like my teeth are so clean after using this. My dentist was happy with the results also.

This is a whole new level of cleaning capability. Ever since Oral B hit the market there is no better cleaning tool but many people use it so much or incorrectly they add other problems. Time and pressure are important to monitor especially for those who use this multiple times a day. This new technology allows these side effects to be controlled. It is easy to use and the Bluetooth connect allows techies greater insights and fun! It is a bit expensive but lasts for years so a good purchase.
