Okay so I never write reviews, and yet I rely exclusively on reviews when deciding to buy a product or not. I held out on buying this item for close to a year because of its many negative reviews. Finally I caved and decided to give it try and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!Getting all the way honest here, I’m a female in my twenties and I have the unfortunate curse of battling a mustache since my early teens. I’ve always stayed on top of it with waxing, plucking and of course my trusty flawless but it’s still very much my biggest insecurity.When I first heard of epilators, I immediately wanted to try one but it seemed like none of them are actually made to be used on your face. Except for this cheap Remington one with the not so great reviews..So I finally order it and give it a try. OMG you guys, it works!! It gets all those nasty hairs and maybe I’m just used to ripping the hair out already but it doesnt even hurt, it actually feels kinda like acupuncture in a way. The secret is finding the best angle and position while holding it on your skin. It says to hold skin tight and use the epilator in circular motions, I do that, I also go straight across, up and down, I hold it backwards, I use it in every single possible position until my upper lip is completely smooth and clear.I definitely recommend exfoliating before use to get all the dead skin out of the way so no hairs are blocked. And this is important.. when you’re done, clean the the tweezers part with rubbing alcohol or witch’s hazel or whatever you prefer, but make sure you clean it after every use or else it will spread bacteria and break you out bad!!So yes I recommend this product if you are cursed like me. It takes some getting used to before you get it down perfect, but you will achieve perfect results with the very first use, it’s just gonna require some extra passes till you get it down.

It was delivered. I immediately opened it and used it on my upper lip, which was the plan all along. I don’t know what’s going on with these negative reviews but literally there is no hair left on my lip and it is so smooth. It was so easy to use and only minorly uncomfortable. I mean, you are pulling the hair out by the root here. You’re not gonna feel nothing. I’m super happy.

Does a great job for small areas!
This little epilator has many great qualities! I have a slightly larger plug in epilator by Phillips, but I wanted to get one that was a bit smaller for small areas on my face. I only gave 4 stars because there are a few things that could be improved. But the positives outweigh the negatives for sure. First, I will tell you the positives:Pros:Great for small areas like chin and upper lip.Small and battery powered, so easy to travel with.Easy to use, lightweightDoes what it’s made for!Great for women who struggle with facial hair (like me), especially for PCOS/hormonal issues that cause excess hair growth. I don’t have those, I’m just hairy!Works much better than a razor — Razors always leave coarse hair under the skin that is noticeable. I also got to a point where I kept getting ingrown hairs from shaving. I highly recommend this if you have that problem. It leaves your skin feeling smooth. That’s important!Cons:(obviously) It hurts a little on sensitive parts. This is expected, I just want to be thorough.I had to take the part that covers the sides off because it wasn’t effectively reaching the areas I needed it to.It only “cuts” a few hairs and I have to go back over it with tweezers. Again, this is expected. It’s only a few hairs. Much better than plucking all of them!It’s also important to note that I have to use it “pink side/on button up” for it to work. That may be the way my hair grows.It lags a bit if you push too hard.In conclusion, this is a great price for what you get! If you are new to epilating, this is a great starter point. If you are on the fence, get it! For only $13, it’s a steal.

Don’t buy this piece of junk!!!
I would give zero stars if I could. It doesn’t work at all. I tried epilating one armpit in every possible direction, and when I was done, there wasn’t a single hair on the device 😱😱😱 you get what you pay for, but this epilator was still a waste of money because it does literally NOTHING!!! Don’t buy this piece of junk!!! I wish I had listened to the other bad reviews. I guess I thought how wrong could the good reviews be? And for $20 what’s the harm? Never again! I’ve learned my lesson: listen to the bad reviews. I hope you won’t buy this epilator! I don’t know what I was thinking with it only having 6 tweezers 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ of course it doesn’t work. Luckily my old epilator does still work, otherwise I would be MUCH more upset and quite hairier 😂😂😂 but in all seriousness: don’t waste your money!!!

faulty switch
I bought this product twice. It worked well for me, but I tried it on my partner, and it broke cause his whiskers were too thick so its not for thick hair. The second time it broke the on/off switch came completely off for no reason at all so I hope with the price hike that the switch issue has been resolved. Other than that I would buy again, and I paid 12.99 both times last year.

I love it! as someone who has pcos,hair on my chin has always been a problem. this one hurts a lot less than threading (for someone who is used to threading a lot). I have used it only once as it was delivered only yesterday. took about 2 weeks to get delivered as it is imported from the US. The seller (ibhejo) also asked for KYC documents for customs clearance and was also duly submitted. There was no problems getting the product. Product was nicely packed, no damages and is working fine. Does the job of removing hair (used it on my chin and neck area), leaves a smooth finish. picked out tiny hairs too..compact size for travelling. I bought it only to use on my chin and neck and so dont know if it can be used for hands/legs. the product is apparently not suitable for eyebrow hair ( as written on the product box). I am completely satisfied (so far)

En verdad recomiendo mucho esta máquina, yo solía depilarme la cara con cera y me encantaba pero ahora que probé esta depladors WOOW todo es más sencillo, no hago desastre con la cera no me quemo la cara, y en 10 minutos máximo tengo la piel suave, tersa y sobre todo libre de bello. No duele casi nada sinceramente me dolía más con la cera del 1 al 10 (siendo 10 máximo dolor) se siente un 3 máximo. No duden en comprarla es la practicidad en planta.ACTUALIZACIÓN!!!! Me sacó mega ronchitas en toda la cara donde la usé al principio se sentía suavecita la cara pero al otro día puff me llene de ronchas rojas (no sé si tengo la piel demasiado sensible) con la cera jamás me pasó algo así de hecho aún traigo marquitas rojas :(. Lo seguiré usando quizá después la piel se acostumbra pero tengan cuidado porque esta es mi experiencia y SI Si saca toooodos los vellos ya sean delgados gruesos o largos y cortos eso si 100/1000

Just my honest, detailed review.I bought this epilator to replace facial waxing – I find waxing to be such a chore and thought this would be a quick and easy alternative. All over this is really nice. It does the good job pulling the hair out from its roots. Works best on short hair. Worked great on thick and fine hair. I saw hair growth after 1.5 weeks. My skin got a little red but that’s normal and to be expected since it pulls the hair from the root.For those saying it doesnt work: make sure you are holding the epilator in the opposite direction of your hair growth, just like you would when waxing. Also, make sure you are holding you skin taut – just like you would when waxing or threading. Maybe practice on your hand and then try it on the face.As for cleaning it, I just use soap and water and that seems to work just fine.It doesnt hurt too much – it felt like a pinch to me. Ofcourse, that may depend on how your pain tolerance. I would say the pain was perhaps a bit less than waxing.HOWEVER – you may have to go over the same area over and over again to get completely hairless skin. Additionally, with this particular epilator, you have to hold it a particular angle (depending on the area) to get the best results – this can be a little tricky.I think its worth it especially for the price and I’m happy I got it, but I will not be using this to replace waxing. I do think it’s great for removing peach fuzz, quick touch-ups and for removing the random pieces of hair that show up on the skin outta nowhere. I’ll be using it for that.Can’t comment on durability since I havent had it for that long.
