Finally, no allergens! Safe for face and body
Finally, something that doesn’t aggravate my many allergies!! No lanolin, sodium benzoate, formaldehyde, propolis, or fragrances… and, I shouldn’t have to add this, but no essential oils, which ARE fragrances, dear manufacturers! Vanicream products have been an absolute lifesaver as one of the only brands I can use without an allergic reaction. Here’s a secret: the facial cleanser and body wash are the same ingredients…do with this knowledge what you will!! I find that a bottle of the body wash gets used relatively quickly, but I don’t mind re-purchasing because I’m just so happy this exists, and at an affordable price. It does foam, but leaves my skin feeling a bit coarse. Nevertheless, for a “soap” without real soap, I feel very clean after using it! I also don’t find that it upsets my pH balance when used on certain sensitive areas, due to its gentle formulation.

While there is nothing particularly special about this body wash, it is one of the best options for those looking for a minimal body wash that works for all skin types.It’s reliable, consistent, and gets the job done.Scent: As it’s fragrance free, it doesn’t have much of a notable scent. As someone who is sensitive to strong fragrances in products, I find this to be a positive. After cleansing my body with this wash it leaves the skin smelling clean and pretty much odorless.Lather: It has a standard lather a does a great job of leaving the skin feeling almost perfectly clean. It’s not moisturizing/hydrating but it’s also not stripping. I have dryer skin and it’s one of the only non hydrating body washes that cleans effectively without leaving my skin feeling dried out. This is rare as I almost always have to opt for a moisturizing or hydrating body wash.pH/microbiome support: Another plus about this body wash is its pH formulation that more similarly matches the skin’s natural pH. While there are plenty of other body washes with similar formulations, it does offer an effective cleansing agent that doesn’t disrupt your natural skin barrier and microbiome.My only critique of this body wash is I wish it was slightly more cost effective. While it’s not expensive there are some more affordable alternatives out there in the market.If you’re looking for something minimal, fragrance free and effective try this!
