I have a low tolerance, the epilator is more painful in some places compared to others …. lady area vs legs. It works great, but I have to pass it over a few times to get rid of the short hair.

We got this portable rechargeable shaver for both of our use. My wife uses it for legs and armpits. It is a compact unit is that lightweight yet heavy duty in quality and service. It charges in about 1.5 hours good for a solid 60 minutes of use. It is IPX4 waterproof so it can be used in the shower as well. You get three modes; Epilator head, shaver head, and callus remover head. You only need one device for all three. My wife uses it weekly or on an as needed basis. It is a multipass device, meaning you have treat the same area at least three times to see good results. We have no issues with it. It is built well using quality materials. We both like this device. It is affordably priced. Recommend.

I’m impressed with this epilator, especially at this price. I’m only giving four stars at this time as I want to give it some time to see if it holds up well, but I have high hopes.I should say that I have been using a well know brand name epilator for many years now and I love it, but it is a plug in style and I was confined to using it right close to the sink outlet. So, how handy this new one is that it’s rechargeable and I can move around to more comfortable and convenient areas of the bathroom to use it. I love that!I’m a middle aged woman and sadly I deal with the dreaded chin hairs and that’s mostly how I use this and it works well. It grabs and pulls out even fine and thin hair and leaves my skin very smooth. I love that this gets the very blond hairs that I can’t see well enough to pluck, but can feel with my hands.If you’re new to using an epilator they are very mildly painful at first and depending on where you use them, but I’ve been using them for so long, they don’t bother me at all, although I’ll admit I’ve never used one on my bikini area.After using, it’s super easy to rinse it off under the sink and then I remove the head to dry off. It’s waterproof enough to rinse it off, but should never be submerged in water.It comes with interchangeable heads including a foot pumice stone that works really well and there’s a typical shaver head, but I haven’t used that yet and I don’t really ever use them.It also cones with one other attachment called a bikini cup that took me a few minutes to figure out how to even attach it as it doesn’t say in the instructions. You have to remove the epilator head and then the top white protective shield part can be further separated and this other bikini cup shield then goes on top and is then snapped back onto the main unit. I changed it out just to see the process of doing it, but I have not used that attachment, nor do I understand exactly how or what it’s supposed to do, but like I said, I don’t use an epilator on my bikini area, so I’m not too concerned about it. Maybe another reviewer can explain it.So anyway, overall, I’m very happy with it and I hope the rechargeable battery in the unit last a long time as my favourite feature is the ability to be cord free.

The epilator attachment takes a few times to get all the hair. I will say this is the first time I have used one, so I’m not sure if this is normal. I like the light feature that helps you see the hair.The shaver was lacking in my opinion as it didn’t remove the hair from my leg. I have very fine barely visible hair, so again, it could be a me problem.It is easy to change out the attachments, cordless and portable, and easy to clean.

This epilator is a nice thing to have on hand. We used it for armpit hair in place of shaving. It was able to remove hair that was more than an inch long in no time! It didn’t hurt too bad either and in a few seconds, there was no more arm pit hair on my daughter. This was a great alternative to waxing and shaving. I like all the options and accessories too. Very easy to use and store away when you’re done!

Great for travel
Epilators have come such a long way since I started using them and this is great. I have several other VGR products I love so I was confident I’d like this too but have really enjoyed it. I have pretty fine blonde hair that isn’t super noticeable but grows back quickly and is annoying to shave every day and using an epilator has been great for that. It’s not totally painless but it’s not bad and is very quick. Since it’s pulling hair from the root it grows back much more slowly than shaving and I don’t deal with ingrown hair or razor burn. Cleanup is a breeze because it can be rinsed off, and the other heads allow this to convert to a callus remover and electric shaver as well. I travel for a living so all in one tools like this are so convenient.

As far as epillators go, it’s better than my Phillips but not as good as my Remington. It works on longer hairs well but it won’t pick up anything 5mm or shorter which my old faithful Remington will without issue. I’d give it a 6/10 because I’ve used much worse products out there that cost the same or more.As a callus remover I’d give it a 3/10. It feels nice and buffs a little of the dead skin away but it’s not as good as the round ones, and it doesn’t allow you to replace the sand paper.. So it’s only going to get even less effective.Lastly as a shaver I’d give it a 9/10. It works really well as an electric shaver and cuts pretty short. I can feel some very small prickles after I run this over my legs, but that’s normal for an electric shaver. I like having this option when I’m in a pinch since I’ve had laser hair removal I don’t shave regularly and sometimes I find a few hairs randomly that are a cm long. This works great for them! It would take a long time to do a large patch of skin though as the shavers are small, so if you’re looking for just a shaver I’d look at a bigger one.I found the battery didn’t last very long and that the charger is VERY difficult to plug into the device. All in all I’m not in love with this product but I’ll still use it from time to time. Depending on what you’re looking to use this for and your budget I may recommend this, but personally I’d rather spend a lot more then $40 and get 3 separate products that all work fast and really well.
