Noticeably softer and renewed skin
I’ve been using this for about a month, typically 1–2 times per week at night, depending on how my skin feels. Everyone is different, I have combination skin and it tends to get irritated if I use this product more than twice a week. I highly recommend doing a patch test before applying it to your face.After using it, I follow with the Innisfree Green Tea Retinol PDRN Firming Serum and then the COSRX Hyaluronic Acid Intensive Cream. By the next morning, my skin feels noticeably softer and renewed.

This stuff really does work, it clears pores and it fades discoloration. It is also really harsh as other reviewers have mentioned. I leave at least 3 days between uses but my discoloration is fading and no other product that claims to fade age spots and discoloration has ever worked for me. I always use a thick skin barrier cream after.

While this was an easy alternative to a daily exfoliant I was using i didn’t find myself using it alot like i kept forgetting about it. I could never remember to leave it on for a minute and using it in my cleanser just didn’t feel as effective as my daily exfoliant.

More Gentle Than I Thought And Effective
When it comes to using acid peels I use them for two reasons: The first is to remove dead skin cells; The second is pore size. I’ve been using extremely potent skin peels. There is no rhyme or reason for how they work. Sometimes there seems to be absolutely no change in my skin, and then suddenly, I begin peeling for 3 days. That can ruin plans!Large pores happen for two main reasons, aging and acneic skin. I have always had large pores and they become more and more apparent. It seems that after a peel, I get a few days of tighter looking skin and it dissipates. I’m hoping more regular use will allow me to treat my pores more often. After using this only once, I can say that my skin easily tolerates the ingredients* and now I hope for long-term results.It’s was hard to find an at-home Peeling Serum that I can use more regularly and without unintended results or red irritated skin and downtime, but with GREEN TOMATO ACID 20 WASH OFF PEELING SERUM, I have an option. I won’t say it’s mild, but it does seem reliable*.It is also flush with fantastic ingredients, like botanicals, sodium DNA, and enzymes from papaya and pineapple (which also exfoliate along with AHA). The first ingredient is 34% tomato fruit water.I will say that “Green Tomato Acid 20 Wash Off Peeling Serum” contains sodium hydroxide* and I wasn’t expecting that. It is an extremely harsh ingredient that can irritate my skin and cause more severe reactions. Even low concentrations can affect different people in different ways. It’s important that it’s formulated properly, applied correctly and used carefully. If you haven’t used a peel before, this product contains enzymes, salicylic acid, AHAs AND sodium hydroxide. All of them are made to remove dead skin and/or peel (And of course, hopefully shrink my pores!) Do a patch test, of course, but this does seem to be gentle enough for me to use once a week at full strength. I can use this more often with no downtime. There was no stinging, burning or irritation.I love the reliability factor, the ingredients, and so far, smoother, better textured skin. What I’d really love is to see smaller pores over time, but so far, so good.

Gentle with great results
This is very potent, I will say if you have any areas of broken skin or open blemishes, it will sting. I didn’t experience any irritation, just some tingling on my skin. I found it worked relatively quickly in smoothing texture and within the first few uses, I had less texture and closed condones on my chin and nose. It’s kinda gel like yet hydrating and just a tad bit tacky, although this goes away once I rinse off so it’s not an issue. I only use this about twice a week and it will last me a good while. Although it is on the pricey side, it’s not as expensive as ones that are this powerful yet gentle. For that, I would definitely get this again when I run out, I’m impressed!

I love these green tomato products
After 2 months, I noticed that this exfoliant gives my skin a smooth, fresh feel even after just a single use and helps brighten dull areas without over-drying (keep in mind I have combination type skin). I only use it once or twice a week since it can be pretty strong if used more than that. My skin always looks clearer and more refined the next day.
