Too stiff for scalp use
This is too stiff for use on the head. There is no give to it. I decided to keep it to massage my thighs instead.

Useful for Thick Curly Hair
I have thick, curly hair and appreciate using this while working in shampoo in the shower, and/or as a scalp massager for me and my guy while sitting on the couch watching TV.In the shower it’s gentler on my scalp and works much better than trying to massage and work in shampoo with my fingers. I always try to massage rather than rub in the shampoo so as to not damage my hair.One reviewer complained it pulled their hair. It’s not a brush/comb; it’s a scalp massager. You place it on your head and move it around in small circles. To test, I just tried “combing” my hair with it and there was absolutely no pulling even through my curls.Another complained it didn’t conform to her head and therefore not every single bristle/nub made contact so she was unhappy. (??) Given it’s made with a highly flexible silicone you simply put your fingers into the strap and the entire thing easily bends. Regardless, you don’t need every single nub to make contact.One last reviewer said they couldn’t get all their fingers under the strap. I have small hands so no problem for me to get all 4 fingers in, yet BF with large hands was still able to easily get and use it with 3 fingers.Also used it on my Chi during her bath and she loved it – not the bath, but the massager.Good head massager, scalp “scrubber”, and doggy scrubber.

Works great and well made
I like the bristles on this MTDLYICE Scalp Massager. It’s more blunt and the bristles are firmer which gives a nice, soothing, and deep massage. The strap to put the fingers through is ideal so that my fingers don’t get cramp holding it. It’s really comfortable to use, and feels great on the scalp. It’s also well made with sturdy silicone and no chemical smells.

Well-Made, But Strap is Too Tight…
I love these silicone head scrubbers, and this one is just as well-made in materials as the other ones I have tried and loved. The cream color is lovely and neutral, the silicone- soft and rubbery. Feels good on the scalp. These scrubbers are so great for that final “working through ” of both the shampoo and the conditioner, also for making sure you have rinsed your hair and scalp thoroughly. My only hesitation about this model, is the the strap is quite flat and tight on your fingers when you slide them in. I have small hands and I can already tell this is not going to be the best for me. If you have larger hands than mine, I think this might cause you to return this. This would however be fine for kids hands most likely, I’ve found these silicone scrubbers really assist kids on being able to clean their hair better, they don’t seem to get the concept of getting everywhere with their fingers on their scalp, these type of scalp scrubbers help them not miss spots. I might delegate this one to one of my children with thinner fingers and smaller hands. A decent scalp scrubber if the strap was made a touch bigger, but not ideal for me as it is, I am sad to say.

If you have thick hair, a head, and wash your hair, you need this brush. Trust me, your fingers are not doing the job, this brush can do in a short time. The brush isn’t pointy on your scalp, giving you any uncomfortable pricks, pokes, or prods. As long as you take care of this, you will be using it for years. Feels great, fits a bit tight on hand
This scalp massager feels great. You can control the amount of pressure you use, and the bristles are silicone so they aren’t too rough (yet they’re still sturdy and firm). There’s a strap on the back that you could slip you hand thru and use to direct the massager onto your scalp, however, I have smaller hands and it’s a tight fit for me. Can use to hang it to dry, but even then it might be tight (I don’t have a hook to try it on). This is nice to use in the shower, helps distribute your scalps oils and keep your scalp healthier. Also, feels great on the shoulders and sore muscles too!
